Brown Sugar Rosemary Latte

Craving a coffee-shop worthy beverage then try this creamy latte with a twist!


Ingredients

Latte

  • 3 tablespoons Brown Sugar Rosemary Syrup
  • 1/3 cup AE Whole Milk
  • 1 cup brewed coffee

 

Brown Sugar Rosemary Syrup

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

 


Directions

Latte

  1. Pour the Brown Sugar Rosemary Syrup and a generous amount of whole milk into your mug.
  2. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute.
  3. Use the little whisk attachment that comes with your handheld mixer to froth your milk by twirling it in your hands until the milk is nice and frothy (or a milk frother if you’re fancy and own one).
  4. Pour brewed coffee on top to fill your mug.
  5. Enjoy!

 

Brown Sugar Rosemary Syrup

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the brown sugar and water to a simmer.
  2. Simmer, whisking occasionally, until all the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Remove from the heat and add the fresh rosemary.
  4. Let steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove the rosemary.
  5. Allow to cool, then pour into a glass jar with a lid.
  6. Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
