Ingredients
Latte
- 3 tablespoons Brown Sugar Rosemary Syrup
- 1/3 cup AE Whole Milk
- 1 cup brewed coffee
Brown Sugar Rosemary Syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
Directions
Latte
- Pour the Brown Sugar Rosemary Syrup and a generous amount of whole milk into your mug.
- Heat in the microwave for 1 minute.
- Use the little whisk attachment that comes with your handheld mixer to froth your milk by twirling it in your hands until the milk is nice and frothy (or a milk frother if you’re fancy and own one).
- Pour brewed coffee on top to fill your mug.
- Enjoy!
Brown Sugar Rosemary Syrup
- In a small saucepan, bring the brown sugar and water to a simmer.
- Simmer, whisking occasionally, until all the sugar has dissolved.
- Remove from the heat and add the fresh rosemary.
- Let steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove the rosemary.
- Allow to cool, then pour into a glass jar with a lid.
- Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
The measurements above are a place to start for the latte, but the amounts of syrup and milk can be adjusted up or down depending on how sweet, flavorful, and creamy you prefer in a latte.
