Vanilla Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 4 to 5 cups Sara Ann’s Vanilla Ice Cream Base (use an amount appropriate for your ice cream maker)*
- Serve with Hot Fudge Sauce, and lightly sweetened whipped AE Heavy Whipping Cream
Directions
Pour the ice cream base into the freezer container of an ice cream maker and churn according manufacturer’s instructions. When the ice cream is the consistency of soft-serve, transfer it to a freezer-safe container, press a piece of plastic or parchment paper onto the surface and freeze until scoopable, at least 4 hours.
*Add a couple cups of chopped, perfectly ripe summer peaches or fresh berries to the base to create a fruit-flavored ice cream, or 1-1½ cups of your favorite chocolate chips, candies or nuts.
