Next time life gives you lemons, try out these brownies! Easy to make with some special shortcuts, these citrus brownies are chewy and soft with a delectable lemonade glaze.

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper, with the edges overlapping the sides for easy brownie removal after baking.

    In a bowl combine the cake mix, pudding mix, lemon zest, eggs and lemonade. Mix into a thick batter.

    Pour the batter into the parchment paper lined dish and spread evenly. Bake for 28-30 minutes. The top will be slightly browned and the center will be slightly firm to the touch. Allow the brownies to cool completely.

    When brownies are completely cool, make the glaze. In a bowl combine the powdered sugar, zest, almond extract and lemonade. Whisk together to make a thin glaze. Pour the glaze over the cooled brownies.

    Cut into 9 bars before serving. Keep covered to stay fresh (keeping in the fridge is okay).
