Combine flour, baking powder, and salt into a large mixing bowl and whisk to combine.

Add the AE Lowfat Yogurt of your choosing and mix using a wooden spoon or spatula.

Once very little dry flour remains in the bowl, dump onto a work surface and knead for 5-10 minutes, until a thumb pressed into the surface of the dough snaps back immediately.

Cut into 4 equal pieces and form into balls.

Using a rolling pin, start in the middle of the doughball and roll outwards

Rotate the dough 45* and continue to roll out until a 10-12in circle is formed.

If your pitas aren’t perfectly round, place a plate or bowl over the top and trim around the edges.

Heat a cast iron or other heavy bottomed skillet on medium heat for 1 minute.

Carefully lay your pita on the skillet and wait for bubbles to form on the surface, about 30 seconds.

Flip your pita and cook for another 30 seconds until char marks start to form on the bubbles.

Place in between clean kitchen towels to keep warm and pliable.
