Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Lay a piece of parchment paper onto a baking sheet and set aside.

In a small mixing bowl pour in the milk and add the vinegar. Set this mixture aside for a few minutes.

In a large mixing bowl add the dry ingredients.

Add in the cubed cold butter to the dry ingredients. Using a fork or pastry blender, cut the cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Pour the milk/vinegar mixture into the flour/butter mixture and gently stir until a rough dough forms.

Turn this dough onto a lightly floured surface and press into a ball. Using a floured rolling pin, gently flatten the dough to 1 inch thickness.

Using a glass cup or jar, cut out 6 biscuits.

Place the biscuits onto the baking tray and brush with a little milk.

Bake for 12 minutes or until they are light, golden brown in color.

To assemble the sundaes; cut the biscuit in half, top with sliced strawberries and vanilla ice cream. They can be served warm or at room temperature.
